General answers about how COUNT THE CATCH tournaments work.
Most tournaments are length-based: your score is the total length of your approved catches. The organizer verifies every submission before it counts on the leaderboard. Check the Rules tab for this tournament's exact format.
Submit through the COUNT THE CATCH app: photograph the fish on a measuring device with your tournament identifier visible, enter the length, then release the fish. Submissions are timestamped and must fall inside the tournament's fishing hours.
Entry fees are set by the tournament organizer, and refund policies vary per event. Contact the organizer directly — you'll find their email in the Tournament Details panel — to ask about refunds or transfers.
Anyone with a free COUNT THE CATCH account can register, unless the organizer sets specific eligibility requirements (age, region, division). Register from this page or the app, accept the liability waiver, and you're in.
Prizes are paid by the tournament organizer after results are final and any catch disputes are resolved. Payout details, if published, appear in the tournament's prize information.
The organizer decides on delays, rescheduling, or cancellation. Watch the Chat tab and your email for official announcements from the organizer.
